First tampon at 26

Finally used a tampon for the first time in my life…interestingly enough, my husband had to help me get it in lol…Only mistake is I bought “regular” thinking there would be something like “light” before it. Apparently regular is the lowest absorbency for the brand I bought and now I have to keep changing this every two hours cause today’s the first day of my period and it keeps getting full too fast

This brand has lots, regular, super, and even super plus.
If you are filling one in 2 hours, you likely need a super!

Playtex is my go too tampons. Plastic applicators. I think they go up to ultra absorbet.

I'd recommend switching to a cup over tampons.
Tampons have a very real risk of Toxic Shock Syndrome because they breed bacteria.
Whilst there is a warning for TSS on cups too, because they are made of medical grade silicone there is barely anywhere for bacteria to grow and as a result the risk of TSS is much MUCH lower.
Just be sure to buy the right size for your age and child baring history.

Tampax does make light. I have that exact box but the “light” version and I love them on my lightest days. I find The tampax pearl regular or super to hold more.
