Question

I know pregnancy is measured in weeks but I’m 2 days away from 24 weeks and want to know how many months I am with my due date being 8/31/22? I hate week timeline because I don’t personally work well with them.  If I have months I know when I have to get certain things done.

You would be in your 6th month. Some doctors break it up differently depending on what they consider full term (38, 40, or 42 weeks). Going off the average of 40 weeks you would be in month 6.

Everyone calculates it differently tbh, a lot go by 4 weeks = 1 month but I personally don’t go by that as there’s only one month in reality which has 4 weeks exactly so what I do is count from the date of my last period.

A lot of verbiage is confusing because they will say once you hit a certain week spot on that essentially you completed that week ( or month) and are now “in” your next week or month. For example if you were pregnant for 7 days, you are entering your 2nd week of pregnancy and days 8- 15 are your second week. Hope that didn’t make you more confused 😝
