Anyone waiting to announce?

This is our second and something has always made me feel uneasy about it… My DH and I decided to wait until after our appointment next week (we would be 14+3) to make our announcement. Just to be safe. I know it sounds paranoid, but I feel like the more people we tell the bigger the chance something will go wrong. We’ve had to losses before, both before my first was born…. I just want everything to be ok :/

I always say follow your heart and do whatever it says that makes you feel good. I’ll also add that there is absolutely no correlation between telling your friends and the health of your baby… life and the world does not work like that, so try to take that pressure off of yourself. Share if you’d like, don’t share if you don’t want too.. just know, whatever happens, happens and I have a feeling everything is going to be great 💞💞🌈

We didn’t tell everyone with our daughter until 15 weeks and I am now 12 weeks with this one and we still haven’t announced. Will probably tell in a few weeks or so.

We told immediate family at 10 weeks and we won’t announce publicly until 20 weeks.

I'm waiting till after my appointment on the 23rd which will put me around 15 or 16 weeks. I get it. I've had a lot of losses too. It's whatever way your most comfortable with. Hoping all is good for this bean ❤️💙

I don’t plan on announcing. This is my second pregnancy and during my first we shared the news at the start of my second trimester. This pregnancy, I experienced what they think was subchronic bleeding at around 12-weeks. I had an ultrasound preformed a week after the bleed and everything looked normal, however I still don’t want to announce and will rather wait until I see someone and they realize I’m pregnant. Hoping the pregnancy goes smooth, but after experiencing what I did I don’t feel comfortable. My parents and sister know but that’s about it. My husbands family isn’t aware. To each their own though, whatever feels right for you. Wishing you a smooth pregnancy!

I waited the first time around till I was almost 18weeks because I was so scared of something happening. If my appointment goes well next week we will announce then and I will be 14 weeks. I’m nervous to announce earlier but I would like to enjoy my pregnancy longer than keeping it a secret like last time.

I waited until 20 weeks to announce my first publicly (with the exception of immediate family) and this go around we announced shortly after 12 weeks so we could announce on Mother’s Day but I’d say do whatever makes you feel comfortable!!

We actually told my SO’s family yesterday at 14+3! I originally wanted to wait until my next ultrasound but it just felt too far away 😅 I don’t plan to announce on social media or to others until after our gender reveal in two weeks!

I waited to 13 weeks and had an ultrasound at 12w6d to make sure everything looked good....wait until your comfortable!
