Government Assistance

I live in Ohio and I have an interview this Wednesday with Job and Family services in hopes of getting food assistance and Medicaid for my baby due in March. I'm nervous...they have a long list of documentation for me to bring. How should I expect the interview to go? My finance told me that if I tell them that I know who the dad is and that he is in the picture they will go after him for child support, is that true?
