If your little loves their pacifier, when do you plan to wean/take them away?

If your little one still uses and loves their pacifier, when do you plan on weaning them from it or taking it away completely? My son is okay without it during the day but he relies on it for naps and bedtime. I’m thinking about doing away with it by his first birthday in 2 weeks. My oldest is 3 and he recently started asking for one himself. So I’m thinking if I take them all away, they’ll both be rid of them for good.

My 1st used one until he was about 2.5 but only for sleeping 
My 2nd never used one
My 3rd uses one for sleeping only and she will be 1 in two weeks. I’d like to wean her but I am waiting until I can keep her home for a few days since she goes to daycare and when I have extra help at the house because I am worried it will be a rough couple days of adjusting and possibly little sleep. I’m not looking forward to it… lol. I might just let it go like I did with my first and let her drop it when she is ready  😬

When he's sleeping well 😂😂😂
He only uses it to sleep and sometimes to calm down, when we are outside (cranky im the stroller, complaining during restaurant visits and so on). Was planning on taking it away when he turns one, but honestly I'll give it to him for a little longer. I used a pacifier until I was like 4.5, that's way too long in my opinion, but to everybody what they need!

Best advice I ever got for my first: take the laci away before they learn too whine/complain.
Our little guy was an early talker and we weaned at 15 months in three days with limited check in sleep training. 
Mine is super attached to his lovey already so I’m thinking he’d probably be okay but he’s not talking at all yet so I dunno. 🤷‍♀️
I’m considering doing the pin prick/cutting method this time so when he sucks it’s not comforting. I was too worried last time that he’d swallow silicone particles but I’ll research how to safely do it this time and try that before doing the sleep training method. 🤞 in a couple of months.
As for your big boy, you could explain that he’s a big boy with all his teeth and it’s not safe for him to use one, it’ll bend his teeth inward. Might do the trick.

Dentist said they are okay to have them till 3 as long as they do not have them in their mouth for long periods of time
