D & C

So...this was my first pregnancy, and unfortunately resulted in a missed mc.  I went for my initial doctors appt on 12/2 and he said everything seemed fine from my exam, I was only 5 weeks and 5 days so I did not get an ultrasound.  Two weeks later on 12/16, at 7 weeks and 5 days, I got my first ultrasound and no baby was found.  Just a yolk sac that was measuring at about 6 weeks and 1 day.  Devastating.  I had my D & C on 12/18, and everything went as good as it could have gone.  I lightly bled for the first day and that was it.  Not sure what everyone else's experiences are, but how long did it take for you to have your first period following your D & C?
