HCG levels not drawn at appointment

Hello!

I had an OB appointment at 7wk 5 days. I ended up measuring on the ultrasound 6wk 4 days. The Dr said she wasn’t concerned and scheduled me for another appointment at 10 weeks. I got my blood work back and noticed no HCG levels were included. I messaged the office and they let me know they did not draw HCG levels.

Is this normal? I assumed that they would test them at my appointment to make sure everything looks good- esp because I measured earlier 😬
