COVID and pregnant

Jani

I asked this question months ago when I was first pregnant, but COVID has now struck my home. My husband tested positive and I’m 26 weeks pregnant. I get tested tomorrow and terrified for it to be positive. PLEASE send me ONLY positive stories of you getting pregnant with COVID and everything turning out fine!!! I need some reassurance.

I had covid at nine weeks pregnant, it was a big two days for me but after I was completely fine, aside from a cough that lasted another five days and general fatigue ❤️My girlfriend Leah, who is now 36 weeks pregnant, just recovered with pretty much the same symptoms as I had. The fever and body aches were absolutely awful, I won’t lie, but fortunately it was very short lived. Keep hydrated, have vitamin c, paracetamol and lots of rest. You’ve got this 💪

I tested positive last Sunday after my daughter tested positive. I will be honest, I had covid in September 2021 and I’m vaccinated. But I had virtually no symptoms. The absolute slightest sore throat but that was literally it. Nothing else. I’m 25+ weeks and everything is great.

I had COVID at 30 weeks pregnant. I did end up being hospitalized for 4 days since my heart rate was crazy and I ended up getting Pneumonia. My baby was born and tested negative. However, during that time there was a study going on with pregnant moms who had COVID. I donated them my placenta for the study and every 3 months they would test my sons blood to see his blood count and to see how long it took for the COVID “protection” to last on him. He was fine for 9 months after 9 months his levels went back to normal and he’s doing good. Just try not to scare yourself. I know it’s scary and you’re worrying not even about yourself but about your baby’s health. Just eat a lot of food to make sure that your baby is healthy. Drink lots of water too!

Got covid at the beginning of my current pregnancy. It was very mild and everything is 100% okay.
