Is a double buggy worth it?

So I’m currently 9 weeks pregnant and my toddler is 19 months. When we go out now he never really stays in his buggy and by the time the baby is born he’ll be 2 years 2 months. I’m just wondering if I’m actually going to need a double buggy? Do your 2 olds still need a pram? We don’t exactly go for long walks anywhere. Just don’t want to waste the money when it could be spent on something else for them! Thanks in advance 😊

My oldest is 3.5 and little is about to turn 2. We don’t use it everyday but use it often. We have a baby trend sit n stand. My oldest will get on and sit down when she’s tired of walking. She likes having the option of getting on and off by herself.

We used it a lot! But my kids naps in their stroller, so it was brilliant to be able to have them napping together. Had this stroller, it's the same width as an uppababy vista, just a million times more stabile as practical.

My oldest is 4 and I thought a double was a waste of money so I didn’t get one. Well, jokes on me, he refuses to walk when baby brother is riding. So now I’m paying $600 and waiting for the stroller to come back in stock.

Debating the same thing. Second should be born right before first is 2.
I go to strolls like 2 hours a day anyway, and I like the smaller one to nap in there, because last time, my son slept best outside...
But I decided to try the boogie board with a seat first. I will see how it goes and if I even need a double. We are teaching our son to use his balance bike, and he is starting to get the point of it, maybe it helps me more. 🤷‍♀️ We still have all summer to see if the bike works before we need to think lore about the double stroller. (also my 2 year old will go to kindergarten also, so maybe we don't need a double that much... We will see).

My first two are 13 months apart and I used it quite a bit. My third is a year younger than my middle and I still use it, my oldest just walks or I’ll carry my middle.

Mine are 16 months apart and I couldn’t live without my double. I used it many places that you wouldn’t even think. Concerts, fairs, malls, just to get out of the house on a crazy day and walk! It’s easy to keep an eye now and have both hands for the toddler but when you’re preoccupied, things can happen so quick! I always had my 2 in there until my daughter understood safety/control a little more.
