When should I take another test?

Ok so I do have a 5year old so I’m familiar to what being pregnant with him was like but I know second baby can be different.. So I took a pregnancy test this past Friday around lunch which was 4 days before my period was due, it was negative. Now today is Tuesday and my period has yet to come. Also been experiencing white milky/creamy discharge, bloating, light pulling like cramps every once in a while and somewhat fuller boobs(not soreness yet) and my discharge doesn’t have that metallic smell to it like it would before period is about to come it’s more so a salty smell.. idk if it’s wishful thinking but if I am pregnant could I get a positive result taking a test today? I pee a lot anyways so I’m not sure if I’ve been peeing more then usual
