This happened to me this morning scariest feeling in the world. Started after pregnancy anybody went through this before?

I use to do night shift, as a nurse. After expericing this on and off over 5+ years then it getting substantially worse in the past 2 yrs I looked into it.. Was diagnosed with sleep paralysis syndrome, It's one of the worst things that can happen it's so horrid, after quitting nights and gaining a better sleep routine in my bed not a couch or arm chair I havnt had one for a very long Time (touch wood)

I've had it periodically over the past 10 years, no bueno. It happened to me twice in the same night when I was pretty early this pregnancy, glad it hasn't been more frequent. The worst part is trying to scream to get out of it and having no control at all.

It happens to me all the time.  When i tell My husband he thinks im crazy.

I get this ALL the time. Definitely not a fun experience. My doctor recommended that when this happens, to try and focus on moving any muscle. Any small movement will immediately end the SP. I'm not always able to do this, but when I do, it does work!
