Mother in law

I can’t stand my mother in law, she tells me I can talk to her about anything and everything but the second I do she’s mean to me about all of it. My fiancé and I are supposed to go to a baseball game tonight and she’s watching our son but because she was just so mean to me it makes me want to cancel going to the game and go pick my son up instead and just have a family night at home.
