Only 1 fluconazole pill for thrush?

Me

I don't even know where to post this....

This is the 2nd time now that my breastfeeding baby has gotten oral thrush and passed it to me via breastfeeding. It hurts so bad to feed him.

The first time, my Dr prescribed me a few pills, like 3 if I remember correctly, to be taken every other day.

This time, I called their office on Friday just in time before they closed for the weekend and they prescribed me the medicine but it's only one pill, so I took it on Friday and it's now Sunday and I'm still in so much pain - worse than Friday.

My son is on a 7 day prescription of Nystatin which started Friday as well.

Does this sound right that I would only need to take one pill??? I am gonna call them tomorrow but I just wanted to post here because I'm in lots of pain and want some hope that this thrush is going to clear up soon.
