38 weeks and protein in urine

so i just had my midwife appointment and the pee stick showed i had protein in my urine about 30 ?? midwife took my blood pressure and it was high but she said it could be anxiety which i do get. i have a blood test tomorrow to rule it out but i just feel like it’s been taking light hearted. i know interventions are not ideal but she won’t even check if im dialated even tho i’ve been having strong braxton hicks/contractions here and there. idk im actually kinda upset and at the stage i just want him out ://
