Safe to lay 4 months old sleeping on side?

Question

When my lo of 4 months falls asleep in my arms, it’s easiest to get her to stay asleep when laying her down in her bassinet on her side (as she already is in arms). Is this safe though, or should I put her on her back? The latter wakes her up most of the time. 
She rolls from back to belly but doesn’t roll from belly to back by herself, insofar that would be relevant

Always always always lay baby to sleep on back. Regardless of whether they can roll or not.

I would put them on their back regardless, they’ll roll if they want to and you can leave them after that. 
Safe sleep is alone in their crib on their back until a year old.

But always put them in on their backs.

My daughter slept on her side since day one, she's two now, I'd say it's safe.
