Abnormal EKG
I am 7 weeks pregnant. I had some chest pain that was on both sides and it’s felt like a stabbing/squeezing sensation. I also had stabbing in my upper back. The pain was worse with movement especially laughing, crying, coughing, etc., I wasnt really short of breath, a little but not bad at all.
I had 2 ekgs done the first said: sinus tachycardia, right atrial enlargement, rightward axis, and nonspecific ST abnormality.
My second EKG done 2 hrs later said all the same as above but it was changed to biatrial enlargement and pulmonary disease pattern was added.
I have an echo in a month but I am so scared of all the findings. The pain is here and there definitely not as bad as it was. I am scared this is a blood clot in the lungs or something though because I found out that the findings on my EKG can have correlation to that which they can’t rule out because they can’t do the CT. They did do an X-ray and said everything was fine. They said they don’t do MRIS in the Emergency room but didn’t see a reason to admit me. This was on Thursday.
I just want some ideas or something to ease my mind because I am terrified.
