Misworded my last post! Got asked to babysit a 2 year old for 10 hours. What would be a fair amount of pay to ask?

when i was a kid i always just told parents to pay whatever they think it’s worth. it was really important to me to not have parents going broke just to have a night out. That being said, if someone had a horrible kid or didn’t pay well  + i had a horrible time i just wouldn’t babysit for them. I’d pay my sons babysitter probably $120? he’s chill tho he just plays alone

I heard, that girls and women are setup to be underpaid early on by taking on babysitting jobs that under pay.  While young boys and men will typically charge $20-$25 for a half an hour of cutting grass, babysitters are expected to request much less, with WAY more responsibility than grass.  Guilt is used too, because we are expected to Want to take care of children out of the kindness of our hearts.  
I think all your rates are too low.

I think all of these are seriously underpaid. I’d charge minimum $14 an hour (that’s minimum wage here), plus more of extras are needed/ for education. For example 
5+ years experience? Plus $1 
CPR/first aid certified? Plus $2 
Driving the kid around? Plus $2 
Cooking/cleaning/ etc $1-3
So I’d say absolute minimum $140, maximum $220

Bare minimum should be at least 10 an hour 
15 an hour is completely reasonable 
15- 20 an hour is the average at least where I live in NYC. 
Do not go below 10 cuz if they ask you again that's just really lowballing yourself 
The only time to ask for 10 is if your like 16 years old and have no experience and live somewhere where that is the norm but that seems very low for any where right now and so if your 18 or older 15 at least.
