No period since February

Hey! I have not had my period since February. It was weird because this never happened and I knew for a fact that I was not pregnant! Plus I took 2 test 1 at home and the other at my check with my pcp. So my doctor prescribed me medroxyprogesterone to see if I was just lacking estrogen. I had to take a pill daily for 10 days, my period was suppose to start a week after my last dosage. My last dosage was 3 days ago I literally started spotting a day after my last pill. This has been the HEAVIEST menstrual cycle I ever had. I’m just posting to see if anyone hs experienced this if so how long did this last ?
