What do you think of this girl name?

What’s your opinion on the name Friday for our baby girl?  Husband and I like unique names.  We have a son named Bishop.

It reminds me of the old classic movie, My Girl Friday.
I don’t think it’s a bad name, if you can name your child Wednesday or Sunday, then Friday is quite acceptable ☺️

I don’t like it personally because “girl Friday” is a term for a personal assistant, kind of like an old timey all purpose secretary. I wouldn’t want to be a girl named Friday because of the “girl Friday” expression… it just feels kind of limiting somehow.

I know a girl named Friday and she definitely got all the TGIF comments. I think its a unique name but not unheard of.

I wouldn’t do it because of the Girl Friday connotations. I’d go with Freya instead (which is sort of where our word Friday comes from).
