Would really like to know what my dream meant

Last night I had a dream that I was driving down a country road and at a 4 way intersection, there was a little girl about a year and a half, maybe 2 years old playing in the grass, no parent in sight. The girl actually looked exactly like me when I was little. I picked her up and asked her where her mommy was and she just said she lived on that road (I don't know how a little girl that age could know what road she lives on, but hey, it was a dream). So I went door to door with her and asked everyone if she belonged there and nobody claimed to be her parent. It seemed like everyone had given up on her, but I wasn't going to. If my husband hadn't woken me up, I think I was going to keep her.
