When is a good age to start taking your child to see the dentist and eye doctor

My child is about to be 1 and I was wondering when should or when it’s recommended to start taking him to these doctors

They recommend 2 in Australia. That's when free dental starts.

Unless you are worried about the baby’s eyes I wouldn’t worry about the eye doctor yet. My boss told me that they are recommending the dentist as young as one now so that you can get them used to it and get a good jump start on good dental hygiene. I took my first born at one year and they did a “cleaning” and showed me how to brush his teeth. His teeth are close together so they recommend I start flossing his teeth as well. Overall it was a good learning trip for me. My son wasn’t crazy about it but they told me that the kids that come in young like that normally do much better later on than the kids who don’t.

If you’re in the states there’s an InfantSee program, there’s an age cut off for it. I can’t remember what it is. You can take them (for free) to an actual eye doctor for a screening. You’d have to look it up to see if you have one in your area. Our pediatrician didn’t do a vision screening until the 3 year visit. 
As for the dentist, around here they don’t start regular exams until 2. We waited for various reasons until almost 3 though. Then every 6 months after that.

We were told to see the dentist starting around 6 months but we didn't take him until almost 4 bc of covid and he has lots of space between his teeth. Checkup went great and he had no cavities. The dentist's warning was that with baby teeth, the enamel is much thinner, so if there is a problem like a cavity, it can become worse more quickly than adult teeth. We haven't been to an eye doctor yet. I'd love to know when he's supposed to go as well.

Our pediatrician recommended starting at age 3 bc before that, she said kids typically just freak out, don’t understand what’s going on and bite and it’s not real fruitful.  We are not planning to go before our 2 1/2 year old turns 3.

I worked at a dental office and we always encouraged bringing a child in for a visual at 6 months. Or with mom/dad at their next cleaning then Dr can take a quick peek.
