Lets talk about sex ???

I thought that caption would be humorous!

My fiancé and I had sex for the first time yesterday at exactly 8 weeks postpartum. It HURT so bad for the first couple minutes but I let him continue so we could get it over with. Afterwards I peed and it burned (OUCH) but after that things felt normal down there. No pain, no burning, nothing. But I started cramping and it lasted ALL day, didn't stop till I went to sleep last night. Did any of this happen to any other ladies? Should I be concerned? I was supposed to have an OB appointment Wednesday but I just had to reschedule so I could take the baby to her appointment so you ladies are the only help I have right now.

I still haven't done it  this time and I'm 10 weeks pp 😁
But with my first everything you described was normal for the first few times we did. Lube helps ALOT and also just continuing if your not in to much discomfort. Just let him know. You might just need to try a few different positions until you find one that's comfortable the first few times.

The first time was at 6 weeks for me and it was pretty painful, I also had some spotting afterwards.  If you are breastfeeding you can be pretty dry down there so make sure you use a lubricant.  It just takes time for things to heal up.
