America ambulance bill

Last month my 12 year old son got a really bad concussion at school. Like I’ve never seen anything like it before, he was throwing up, couldn’t walk, was talking crazy with slurred speech. We took him to urgent care (don’t hate I had no idea what to do) and there they called an ambulance because it was so bad.

He gets to the hospital they do tests and luckily he had no internal bleeding or anything like that so they kept us until he was no longer throwing up and he was back to semi normal.

Thankfully he is fine, no lasting effects due to the concussion.

Just getting all of the bills from everything and man am I stressed.

I am lucky enough to work for my state so my insurance is thankfully pretty good and covering most of this. If no insurance my total would be 5,817, we are needing to pay $526.

America does not make sense.
