Virgin. Nervous about sex?

Im getting married in a week. I've never had sex before and I'm 19. I'm worried because I don't know if there is  anything in particular I'm supposed to do. He's my best friend, but I don't even know how it works, besides the stick goes in the whole. Any advice would be very much appreciated!! Nervous!! What do I do? How does it feel?

Just a tip I've heard from other married couples: you don't have to have sex the first night. Often you both, especially you, will be very exhausted after your wedding, whether or not you are travelling for your honeymoon right away. You will likely have much more pleasurable sex after you have both had a good night's rest and a whole day to focus on you two and your sexuality, rather than family, guests, food and a whole load of other worries from the wedding. Don't worry cause it gets better with time and practise.

​There will be some discomfort initially, so try to prepare for that. Do your best to relax physically and emotionally, and remember this is the man that you love, that you are sharing yourself with, devoting your life to, and dedicated to.

I recommend you research a little about sex cause it definitely will help if you know more than that. Truthfully, in the missionary position, which is the most common position for first time sex cause of it's relative straightforwardness and intimacy, there isn't much that the woman needs to do. If your husband is also a virgin make sure that he knows what he should be doing. The most important thing on your end is to be turned on. Make sure that you relax and communicate your sensations to him so he knows whether to keep going or to stop. Make sure that if you aren't that comfortable and aren't naturally lubricated enough that you let him know you need more foreplay, which could just be kissing, manual stimulation and/or oral sex. If you aren't turned on enough it will likely be very awful, but expect it to be uncomfortable the first few times no matter what.

​Let him know how you feel. Go slow. Only do it if you really want to and realize real sex isn't anything like porn. No ones expecting you to bend into a pretzel or do anything like that.. If he is, he's not in the real world. Lol.
