Egg White CM Multiple days before expected Period

Hello! Weve been ttc for a few months now and Ive really been tracking and learning about the CMs. Ive already had the Egg white. Clear thick and strecthy this cycle, during the time I was suppose to Ovulate, but during my feritle period I took tests multiple times a day for that whole stretch and not one came back postive. Today is one day before my period is suppose to start and for 3 or 4 days now Ive had this cm and its confusing to me. Ususally before my period its rather dry or even itchy down there from the latch of moisture but this month is different. Today I took an LH test and it was a STRONG postive. I know I could wait a couple days to take a preg test and find out but its just odd to me. Has anyone else gone through this and could maybe explain or share their experiences with me.
