MC what next ?

It’s my first MC (5weeks) started  bleeding (not very heavy ) some blood clots not large. Pain like period pain and it hurts a bit and uncomfortable when i sit down on butt. What next ? What should I expect, how many days to bleed? It’s D&C necessary? Im sorry if i didn’t write in the right group and if it triggers anyone i’m just concerned and want to see what to expect.

Anything before 6 weeks typically passes like a period. 
Mine was just a light period. 4 days long. No clots. 
No need for an OB appointment. 
You do count the bleed as a period when it’s a chemical. Most women ovulate about 2 weeks after.

At 5 weeks, this is likely still considered a chemical pregnancy (unless you were able to see something on ultrasound). When you lose a pregnancy this early, you can actually count it as a period. It shouldn’t affect your cycle much and you shouldn’t need a d&c as you were likely too early for there to be any pregnancy tissue pregnant. I’m so sorry for your loss. I’ve had 5; they’re never easy. 💔

First of all, I’m so sorry 💔 With it being that early. I would expect you to bleed as long as a normal period. Count the first day of bleeding as 1st day of a new cycle. Test every few days to make sure pregnancy test turns negative. If bleeding continues and pregnancy test does not turn negative within a week or two, I would call your Dr and get an ultrasound done to make sure everything passed. Or you could just call now and tell them what’s happening and they can walk you through everything. God speed 🙏🙏

I had a miscarriage in February at 5 weeks. I stayed home because I knew it was happening and the next day the doctor confirmed it and said I passed everything. I bled for 5 days like a period. The cramps were the worse. And back pain. The blood clots didn’t last more than 3 days
