This has to be a false positive, right? 7DPO

The last couple days I’ve been experiencing mild cramping and yesterday I peed, A LOT. I took a test this morning with FMU for fun, not expecting anything to show up. About an hour later I took a dollar store test that was clearly negative. I’m going to retest in a few days, but I’m just looking for some insight. 7DPO.

It looks invalid as the line doesn’t go all the way through.  Coupled with another negative test and that really makes me think invalid. But with the line that dark I’d definitely be testing again in the next day or so. Good luck!

I used easy at home tests for multiple pregnancies and never ever had a false positive

No that's clearly positive. The dollar store test was negative because you only had an hour urine hold. It needs to be a minimum of 4 hour hold with limited water intake for enough hcg to be built up in the urine.

I would test again later on or use a different brand. I had multiple tests that did this to me and I was starting to think I was when in fact I wasn't. It was the same brand too.

These lines are faint but here are my tests I was talking about. This was within the time frame too.

Because of how early you are and how the line is broken I would be skeptical, try a different brand with FMU

It’s an evap/dye run and invalid. I got one like that with the same easy at home strips and I was not pregnant.

This line does look awfully dark for only being 7 dpo. But I used these tests with both pregnancies and had no false positives. I would try again after waking up in the morning. I always test a few days in a row first before I consider myself pregnant. Lol
