When to start shopping !

Hey ladies! 
First time mommy here. I have on angel in heaven and I’m now pregnant with my rainbow baby 🌈. I am currently 5 weeks and so anxious and excited. My question however is when did you start shopping for your littles?
For me I’m already starting because I won’t be working starting in September due to school. So I’m purchasing stuff now because I know I have the money. 
Is it to soon? 
What should I buy and what should I stock up on?

Diapers, burb clothes, onies, socks, bottles, wipes

I waited until I got out of the first trimester. I had a few ealry losses and couldn’t take the pain of returning stuff.

I started shopping once we found out we were having a boy, that was around 10-11 weeks. I bought a stroller. Then I waited a while and started buying other things like the bath tub and changing pad. 
I didn't get a baby shower due to covid and for sure didn't want a "drive by shower" due to it being too cold. We had a "Mail away shower" so we only registered for easy to ship things and we bought most the big things ourselves.
