Holding on to treadmill?
So I been in a fitness journey for a year now and lost 50 pounds. My diet didn’t really change. I just cut back on sweets and soda but would have them occasionally. I went to the gym 6 times a week and worked out. I did a lot of incline on the treadmill though along with using the weight machines. At least 5 times a day and would do it for an hour or so. I feel like the incline really helped me lose weight but lately I been seeing people say holding on to the treadmill won’t help but I been holding on to it and now I’m wondering if maybe that wasn’t the reason I lost weight? It was just more comfortable for me as a newbie in the gym. and I would be drenched in sweat afterwards. I’d like to hear everyone’s thoughts on this and don’t be rude. I’m just a girl with a weight loss goal and looking for different opinions
