Wanting to date as a single mom

Hi y’all,

I am a single mom to a toddler. Lately, (I think with summer being here), I have been wanting to date. I want to date to find a good guy friend that could potentially turn into something serious such as a relationship. I am not looking for casual dating or hookups. So I am wondering, how do I date as a single mom?. I have been single for a over year now, since I left my ex fiancé when I was pregnant with our child due to abuse. I’m not sure what to do bc I don’t want to go out and look for a man, I want it to happen naturally. Also, when dating, I’m not open to disclosing that I am a single mom or about my child until I feel comfortable. Any advice… I have did dating apps prior to my previous engagement and being a mom and I met some cool guys, however, some of the guys just wanted to hook up and I’m not comfortable with a dating app… anyone have tried speed dating? Any advice and tips on dating as a single mom would be great. Thanks
