Vbac v 2nd C-section?

Question

I'm having trouble going through all the research. My OB said that I am a good candidate for VBAC as the only reason for my first C-section was baby being breach. So I'm trying to decide if I want to go for a vaginal birth or schedule a C-section for 39 weeks. What would you do? We agreed that we won't have any additional children, so that won't be a factor we need to consider. Has anyone else had to make this decision before? What did you choose and how did it work out?

When all the risks are weighted, then a vbac is a safer option in most cases.
I suggest aks doc for risks and benefit assesment, and talk it trough.

I chose to do a vbac big time after a ton of research.  The risks for serious complications from 2nd csection were greater, my baby had nicu issues bc of csection and I very much wanted a natural birth. There is a great Facebook group called ican that shared stories and facts and statistics. Mine was an emergency csection after 50hrs of labor.
However, I got diagnosed with preeclampsia and hypertension again. They need to take the baby early…  I’m scheduled for a csection and I am having a very hard time with it.

My first was a C-section due to his heart rate dropping but I don't care what they think I should do, I'm pushing for a VBAC regardless unless they can prove a C-section will be medically necessary

I had this decision to make with my second. I went vbac all of the way (partially though because i want more children). Being able to vbac was so much better than my elective csection with my first and its a choice i would make over and over again. Recovery was so much quicker and my biggest reason was that i still wanted to be able to care for my toddler when i came home. I knew if i had a csection i couldnt take care of my toddler, my newborn, and most importantly myself. My oldest isnt old enough to understand why i could hold the newborn and feed her but not her. Im open to have a discussion if you feel it would be helpful

I had the 2nd csection and it was an amazing experience. 
Literally had NO pain post op.
I was off narcotics by day 2 and on ibuprofen til day 3. 
I was practically up and walking immediately after surgery.
Like I said I had no pain.
That being said, I would have loved to have a vbac but my hospital isn't vbac supportive.
Im going to have my 4th csection in feb. Ive been cleared for at least 5 csections(do long as this pregnancy goes well).

I had a scheduled c section but for the week of my due date. Bc if I went into labor before I would do VBAC. And what do you know I went into labor before and I told myself if my body is trying to do it’s thing I’ll let it. Successful VBAC no stitches and 2 weeks pp and recovery is great. I feel almost back to normal! Just the pads constantly are annoying. But with c section I wouldn’t have felt this good at 2 weeks pp at all!!
