Is it braxton hicks?

For the last week my stomach has moments during the day where it feels very tight sometimes accompanied with a little lower back pain. Doesn’t last long and happens a few times during the day, is this what Braxton hicks feel like? 
First baby 34 weeks.  Any thoughts

Yes Braxton hicks! They can be painful for some women depending on pain tolerance but mostly just uncomfortable. I had a few that were painful. I’ve been having them a bunch the past week (consistent ones on Friday I actually had to call my doctor) but thankfully they slowed down! As long as they aren’t timable or you haven’t had any bleeding or any ring, you’re good!

Braxton hicks shouldn’t in theory be accompanied by pain, but yeah it sounds like it since it doesn’t get worse and it happens sporadically?
