when to start opk - first time

last day of my period was June 3rd. 
haven’t used OPKs before but trying this go round lol. buuuut i have no idea when to start testing with them. 
any tips are helpful! typically have a 28-30 day cycle, not really irregular (period usually comes within 1-3 days of glow prediction but i’m aware the app doesn’t perfectly know my body)

For first cycle start from cd8 and test until you get your positive. 99 percent of women with your cycle length will ovulate between cd 13 to cd 17 but first cycle is just getting to know your usual range. My range without fertility drugs or miscarrying is between cd13 and cd18 most often cd15 or cd16. Keep in mind most women do not ovulate constantly on the same cd. It can range from one day to 3 days so really ditching the OPKs after finding a pattern is not ideal. It is just that let say you will be starting later testing if you ovulate normally between cd14 and cd18 and earlier if you do cd12 or cd13. Otherwise you just have to BD any other day between cd8 and cd 22.
