I talked to my husband today about possibly doing a vow renewal for our 5 year wedding anniversary that's this November. He said he'd love to do that.

Long story short. We got married at 19 and a lot of things went wrong as far as family drama with my narcissistic mother. Anyways because of that there was a lot of stress and drama the day before the wedding and throughout the whole wedding planning process.

I thought it would be a fun idea to do it how we want to do it this time around. Do the things we wanted to do but couldn't then.

For those who have done vow renewals, did you do something just the two of you, did you invite only a couple friends, or were family there too?

Also, what all did you do for the renewal? How did you start planning it? Idk where to start 😅
