A question for Canadian mammas

To start I live in Ontario.

It seems to me that I’m the only expectant mother in the world that has been repeatedly denied copies or photos of ultrasounds. Has anyone run into this, is it a local thing or just a me thing?

I understand that my 7 weeks ultrasound was too early for that. But I had two ultrasounds this week one day after the other at 8 weeks 5-6 days, and was again refused copies, and wasn’t even allowed to take a picture of the screen.

Has anyone else here has a similar experience? Of the three ultrasounds only once was I even allowed to see the baby and their heartbeat. I’m getting tired of being poked and prodded so everyone else can get a look at my insides but I get nothing. I’m so frustrated.

Thoughts? Similar experiences? Solutions that won’t cost a small fortune? (Not looking to pay for a 3D ultrasound).
