Were your feet and hands swollen before labor ?

I’m due any day now and suddenly my feet and hands are swollen! I’m on leave now but even before going on leave my feet and hands weren’t swollen but now that I’m home mostly resting they’re swollen up so big. Just wondering if this an indication that labor is near? And since it came on so suddenly should I maybe ring my doctors?

Yes my entire body swelled up so bad but definitely mention any swelling to your doc so they can make sure everything’s normal

Mine don't swell until the end and have always had good bp.

Swollen hands and feet all of a sudden are a very good reason to call your doctor. My OB said that most of the time it’s because of the way you’re resting, but it can also be a sign of preeclampsia. 
Preeclampsia is when your kidneys start failing to keep up with the extra blood volume. Because they can’t filter out all the fluid they need to, your body will retain it and cause swelling. 
Like I said it usually just normal pregnancy annoyances, but it is so much better to be safe than sorry. Best of luck!

I would just to be safe. No idea if it actually means anything but I think that any sudden changes at this point are worth asking about, for peace of mind if nothing else.
