Cohabitation before Marriage?

Should couples live together before being married? if yes/No why?
(this isn't very controversial but I guess it could be discussed.)

I consider living together sorta like test driving before jumping into marriage. Like what quirks do they have? Any annoying/nasty habits? Are they strict about cleanliness or sloppy? Things that could make marriage difficult in the first year. I know it's not okay for some but this is my personal opinion. I'm happily married now to my evil twin. Lolz, and he's my best friend too.

YES. Living with someone is so much different than hanging out at each others houses. No matter how often. You actually get to know eachother and your true sides.

For me, personally, though, I'd rather live with someone before marrying them. But you do you.

It's definitely a way to get to know a person better. I think you can get to know a person on a deeper level living together.
That being said, I am a strict Christian so I wouldn't be living with an SO before marriage but I sure would try to get to know that person's quirks and habits. Everyone has their own beliefs and if I didn't have mine, I would definitely move in before marriage.

I would want to really know my partner's habits and what it's like to live with them so that I know what I'm signing up for lol.

Yes!! You can sleep at someone's house everynight, but until you have a place of your  own you won't see how they live. I'm so glad we got that shit out of the way.. It was hard at first.

I think u should live with someone first but saying that my husband and I were engaged and had the wedding deposit paid before we lived together 😂 double standards I know! I think when you find the right person you know they are the one and have no doubts. As long as u are happy it's all that matters 😃
