Vitex and delayed period

I had a chemical in March and was eager to try again , I heard how great vitex was for increasing your odds of conception I jumped at it . I have regular cycles and figured this would strengthen my odds of avoiding another chemical. Well it induced a period on cycle day 18 and caused me to spit for a month , im now 3 days late and keep getting negative pregnancy test. Would like to add I used conceive + and progesterone cream 😩 I was just trying to avoid another heart break but now my cycle is off and my hormones are out of wack . Any advice or encouragement ??
