Should I Inform My OB?

Should I call my OB and inform them that I was bitten by a tick? I'm 14 weeks pregnant. It was a small nit, and when I pulled it out it wasn't engorged at all, so it wasn't on me for very long. I saved it just in case. Not sure if it's better to call and just let them know, or not worry about it.

Meh i wouldnt. As long as you dont get the bullseye mark i wouldnt worry about it at all. If you get the bullseye mark then ied call them

Yes. Eating somehhing doesn't play a role. Biting is enough, basically their saliva in your blood stream.
You can get Lymes disease or encefalitis just by an infected tick walking over the skin.
Unless you had the tick tested, you are not clear. (most ticks don't carry diseases, but as there are so many of them, those who do, still do a lot of harm).
Both these diseases are severe and bad for baby so you have to monitor your condition at any time. If the place bitten goes red in a week or two go to a doc right away. If there is unexplained fever, go in etc...
One of my friend had unknownd tick bite. Her condition was so bad, that she gave birth via csection at 32 weeks. Baby was sent to higher grade hospital to another city under monitoring, and she had to learn not walk and talk again.

So definitely if you get bitten by a tick, call your OB. My mine was adamant that I need to get it tested, so I'm sending it out first thing tomorrow.
