Should I go to the beach ???

My boyfriend’s family is going to a beach in a few weeks and they invited us to go. 
My boyfriend is very excited about it. But I’m not that excited. I wish that it was just me and him going. I would love than more. I always have more fun when we do things on our own. And I feel more comfortable. We have only been dating for a few months , so I’m not very close with his family yet. 
I don’t have a lot in common with his family. 
Do you think I should tell him that I don’t want to go and just not go ? Or do you think I should just suck it up and go and maybe I’ll have fun ?

I don’t know how old you are or how serious you think you are about this boyfriend, but meeting and spending time with his family is important if you guys are more serious about each other. His family will pick up on if you seem to avoid outings with them or seem turned off to conversation with them and it’s not gonna leave a good impression. You can’t just have him to yourself all the time.

Go to the beach it’s not a big deal it can be just you and him for everything that’s a way relationships can go bad. And he can resent you for doing that it can happen so go have fun

My partners family barely talk to me and socialize.  I still go to support my partner.  As I know he is excited to go.  But I have countered with him by asking if we can take solo mini vacations together. And that helps us a lot. As his family only seems to care about his siblings and their marriages and pregnancies yet aren’t excited for our wedding though we’ve done a ton of work and preparation for the siblings big events.  It’s just sometime how it is with family.  Best thing to do is go and enjoy your time with your partner. Be nice to everyone and just Atleast enjoy getting to be around him. Y’all will have plenty of time for yourselves to do things together in the future. They may want to get to know you as well 🙂
