Dark pigmentation

I am almost 2 weeks postpartum! Throughout my pregnancy i have gotten some dark pigmentation on my armpits, inner thighs, and bikini area. Does is go away? Is there anything i can use to help lighten?

Everything I’ve read says it can take a few months but the darker pigment should go away. And man I hope it’s true 😅

Try incorporating a vitamin c serum daily. Vitamin c is a powerhouse for brightening, lightening, and tightening the skin. This one is absolutely amazing. Another great antioxidant is C&E advanced from PCA, and mixing it with their hydrating serum or hyaluronic acid boosting serum.
It’s also extremely important to use SPF every single day, whether you’re outside or not. No matter if it’s cloudy, rainy, snowy, ALWAYS wear your SPF. Nothing you do will work if you aren’t protecting your skin from the sun. My current favorite is EltaMD’s SPF 46 oil free spf. You can get it at target, Amazon, or directly from their website.
