fibroids during pregnancy

im 9 weeks and 2 days. i had my first ultrasound today, its also my first pregnancy. baby seems to be where its supposed to be and heartbeat is at 170.. during my appointment, the nurse practioner informed me that after reviewing my ultrasound they found 2 fibroids in my uterus, thatbare benign. the first one was small about an inch, the second one was about 5 inches. i asked if its something i should be worried about, she told me no and we can take care of it after I deliver the baby. we will just have to closely monitor it during the pregnancy. she also assured me that it will most likely not grow during the pregnancy. i know she told me not to worry but as a first time mom, here i am.. asking for you guys experience if you ever had the same experience of having fibroids during their pregnancy. thank you!!
