Lump in armpit

So in early March I noticed a lump in my armpit. It didn’t hurt. But I could feel it.

I went to my doctor and she said keep and eye on it and then we’ll do an ultrasound if it hasn’t gone in a few weeks.

It didn’t go and I got the ultrasound.

She told me it was a mass of hair under the skin. She told me to stop shaving, use a loofa everyday and change deodorant.

I’ve done all that but it’s still there. I haven’t shaved in 3 months. I’ve scrubbed so hard and changed deodorant.

It hasn’t grown and doesn’t hurt.

What do you think I should do? I’m a bit anxious because my family has a history of breast cancer.
