When did you tell family + close friends about your rainbow baby?

I am early pregnant with my rainbow baby after an early mc. 🤍 Part of me wants to tell close friends + family again now that I am almost 5weeks and blood tests are looking good. But part of me is still so anxious after an early loss and wants to wait. I’d love to hear others’ thoughts and experiences!

13 weeks close family and like 15 to 17 weeks to friends and other family members.

I told my mom pretty much immediately, because I wanted to have her support in case of another miscarriage. We waited until about 9w to tell close family and friends, and we announced to everyone in second trimester.

I wanted to wait until 12 weeks, but my fiance was so excited that everyone found out the same day we did lol.

I’m telling everyone after my scan on 18th July, only my mum and sister ( and partner of course lol) know at the moment

I told my mom and sister right away. No matter what happened I knew I’d want their support. I left it up to dad when to tell his parents and we told them at 11 weeks (it was his mom’s birthday). We’re 15 weeks now and have started letting everyone else know as we see/talk to them.

We didn’t tell close friends and family until almost 13 weeks, announced on social media about a week later.

I told my very very close friends as soon as I found out I was pregnant but I did not tell my kids or other family members until I had an ultrasound to know there was a heartbeat!
