My husband was watching a movie in bed tonight as I was giving out daughter a bath. I always do bath then bedtime right after. He knows this. She’s been alive for a year and a half, he knows the routine. I let him know I’m putting her to bed and turning off the lights. She sleeps with us bc we don’t have room for a bed/crib for her. I turn her sound machine on, turn off the lights and lay down with her. What does this man do? Turns up the volume on his movie because he couldn’t hear it over the sound machine 🙂 since the tv is on, my daughter thinks it’s still playtime. I ask him how long is left because it’s 9:30 at this point and she really needs to go to bed. Says idk and that’s it. So now my daughter is getting upset because she wanted something else on the tv. I tell her I’m sorry but it’s bedtime and she can’t watch tv. She starts crying so what does he do next ?? TURNS IT UP MORE. At this point I’m too exhausted to say anything because I know it’ll piss him off and piss me off even more. I keep trying to lay out daughter down to go to bed but ofc she keeps getting up to play. Finally, he gets irritated that he can’t hear the movie over her fussing that he turned it off all pissy. I really wanted to throw a shoe at his head.

@Amber: we do 🙂 he also has a gaming room. HE HAD TWO OTHER ROOMS HE COULD GO TO 😭 like I know I could’ve asked him to watch the movie elsewhere but he’s a grown man and knows our routine 😭 like he should’ve known better lol or am I wrong for thinking that? 👀
