July 3rd baby turned into a June baby 37w2d

Makayla

Found out last friday at 36 weeks that I was on the line for Cholestasis (bile levels scoring 9.1) so we redid labs that day to see if they were going to go up and checked me at a 2cm 70%…Next day I went in to L&D from what I had thought was reduced fetal movement. I was sent home but barely. They did an ultrasound to watch his movements within a 30 minute time frame and he had just barely passed it, enough to send me home though. Monday June 13th my dr called saying I now score a 10.7 on bile levels which technically is Cholestasis. She told me to count movements as I still felt they were decreased and that if it’s not what I want to come in that night bc she was on call at the hospital. I went in and he looked perfect but my upper right side started hurting so she decided to get the ball running. Started pitocin at 12:30am, didn’t feel much pain up until my pitocin was at 14ml/hr so I then received epidural at 5cm, (worst pain ever and with my first two it was bad at all) very shortly after she broke my waters at 9:30am, and I had him at 10:55am! My epidural absolutely did not work and I felt it all. He was out within 3-4 pushes.

He was estimated to be very small, even had to be seen at high risk due to restricted growth yet he came out a very surprising 7lbs8oz!
