Hcg doubling but progesterone dropping?

I am pregnant with my rainbow baby and had the following blood results this week:
06/14: hcg 307 & Progesterone 18.3
06/16: Hcg 722 & Progesterone 13.2
The hcg has doubled but the progesterone dropped. Is this normal? Should I request supplements?

I was 4.7 … that is extremely low. Was also put  on suppositories . It’s conflicting when it comes to progesterone . Some experts say that it completely fluctuates in early pregnancy and the levels don’t matter … others say it absolutely matters . I was told when I did my blood test that since my levels were so low it could be ectopic …I’ll be 19 weeks tomorrow. And yea at 12 weeks your placenta takes over the placenta. So don’t worry .

Progesterone will drop until your about 12 weeks because your body takes from you as when you hit about 12 weeks the placenta takes over. This is something I learned with my 3rd cause my levels were LOW. 4.5 when tested, I was put on supplements and so far so good, baby is healthy. Just make sure your Dr is checking to make sure they don't drop too low, but womens bodies are built for this and can handle a lot. I would not be concerned atm. Watch for bleeding
