When do painful contractions start? I’ve been told when my contractions start coming 5-10mins apart and lasting more than 1 min I should go in.. I get that part! My question is before I get to that point when will the painful contractions start, like will I be getting painful contractions at like 2/3 hours apart?? Or do they only get painful like when they start coming closer like 15-20mins and up.

So far I’ve only been getting irregular Braxton hicks, sometimes they come 6 mins apart for an hour straight and then they drift further apart, sometimes I wouldn’t have one for an whole hour! and they’re not that painful. So now I’m just curious about real contractions will they start off with no pain and then get really painful and how soon does the intensity starts if that makes sense
