My brother and his wife came into town suddenly for the holidays and we told them tonight that we were pregnant. His wife did not take the news well as they've been married a long time and have been trying (although I know little about for how long or what issues they face). I feared telling them as we got pregnant a month after getting married and first cycle we were trying. She walked away crying and we just left them with my parents. I'm not sure how I could have done things better.  She's never been a fan of me to begin with so I'm pretty sure she hates me now. And I hate that I've now caused problems for my brother (and parents as they are staying with them).  They are here for a few more days. What should I do? Is just going to work and staying away best? Should I say something else if we see them again?
