Wedding after getting eloped?

Hey everyone! 
Me and my husband eloped in March, but we are wanting to have a “wedding” on our 5 year anniversary of us being together. Does anyone know of someone who has done something like this? We aren’t doing anything crazy, this is moreover for myself and our families to celebrate with us! Just wanting everyones’ opinion and experiences; thanks in advance!!🥰

My husband and I got married in 2020. We were in a long distance relationship and had planned a wedding in my home country (to then move over to his) but the pandemic hit and all was cancelled. I ended up moving and we got married with only his family present and mine on videocall. We said we’ll do a vow renewal/ proper wedding in 5 years or so, so I’d think there’s a lot of people in the same position especially after the last few years

I don’t know anything but me and my fiancé are going to get married in Vegas with a few people there but we will have actually “wedding” and reception in 2 years. Idky but I want to be married now but I also want a real wedding and with us buying a house we can’t afford that plus a big nice wedding like I want right now. So I don’t see what’s the big deal with you doing it. Do what makes y’all happy!
